NOTES:
- In the following series, the series from Jan.-Mar., 1980 to Oct.-Dec., 1999 are the annual estimates, which were retrospectively estimated in the conventional way (released on 26 Dec., 2002). As for the original series of the final consumption expenditure of households (real, excluding imputed rent) and deflators after 1990 were additionally released on 21 Jan., 2003. The figures from Jan.-Mar., 2000 to Jan.-Mar., 2002 are annual estimates in the new method (released on 3 Dec., 2002). Those after Apr.-Jun., 2002 are preliminary estimates in the new method (released on 9 Dec., 2002). (These series are employed as official series. As for reference series, please refer to the note of reference series.)
- The seasonally adjusted series are calculated applying seasonal adjustment system to the original series made by connecting the official series of new method (from Jan.-Mar. 2000 to the latest quarter) with the reference series (from Jan.-Mar., 1994 to Oct.-Dec., 1999).
- Notice that the latest preliminary series should be used, because preliminary series are revised along with the revision of the source data or seasonally adjusted series are always retrospectively revised until Jan.-Mar., 2000 as they are concurrently seasonally adjusted every time. ( Note: The seasonally adjusted series of the reference series is retrospectively revised until Jan.-Mar., 1994.)
- The figures of the changes from the previous quarter in Jan.-Mar., 2000, the changes from the same quarter of the previous year from Jan.-Mar., 2000 to Oct.-Dec., 2000, the changes from the previous year in calendar year 2000 and that in fiscal year 2000 are calculated comparing the official series and the reference series both estimated by the new method.
