NOTES:
- On the following series, those before Jan.-Mar. 2001 are figures by the annual estimation that have already been released --which were estimated in the conventional way--, and those after Apr.-Jun. 2001 are figures by the new method of preliminary estimates.
- The seasonally adjusted series are calculated applying seasonal adjustment system to the original series made by connectingthe preliminary figures of new method (from Apr.-Jun., 2001 to the latest quarter) with the reference series (from Jan.-Mar. 1994 to Jan.-Mar. 2001).
- Notice that the latest preliminary series should be used, because preliminary series are revised along with the revision of the source data or seasonally adjusted series are always retrospectively revised until Apr.-Jun., 2001 as they are concurrently seasonally adjusted every time. ( Note: The seasonally adjusted series of the reference series is retrospectively revised until Jan.-Mar. 1994. )
- The changes from the previous quarter in Apr.-Jun. 2001, the changes from the same quarter of the previous year from Apr.-Jun., 2001 to Jan.-Mar. 2002, the changes from the previous year in calendar year 2001 and that in fiscal year 2001 are calculated comparing the preliminary figures and the reference series both estimated in the new method.
- The figures in calendar year 2001 is the sum of the figures for Jan.-Mar., 2001 of reference series newly estimated and preliminary figures estimated in the new method from Apr.-Jun. to Oct.-Dec. 2001.)
