Research on economic statistics and indicators which consider environmental factors
As efforts toward achieving a decarbonized society continue to advance, making the relationship between the environment and the economy more visible has become an important challenge. From a decarbonization perspective, ESRI conducts research on indicators that reflect the environmental impacts of economic activities in GDP, while also developing and improving accounts for greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental factors.
