Trade effect analysis using the “GTAP (Global Trade Analysis Project) model”
Utilizing the “GTAP model”, which is an applied general equilibrium model, we will support the Cabinet Secretariat TPP Headquarters in ex-ante analyzing the trade effects of the future expansion of the CPTPP(Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership)membership, and we will also assist in ex-post analyzing the effects of past agreement conclusions. In addition, we are also analyzing the effect of increasing foreign labor force.
