Research on measuring the distribution of household income, consumption, and wealth within the framework of the SNA
By making use of the comprehensive framework of the System of National Accounts (SNA), ESRI will examine methods for estimating the distribution of household income, consumption, and wealth by attributes such as income and age groups in line with the SNA. Such SNA-consistent disaggregation of the household sector has gained international attention, and is recommended as a satellite account in the new international SNA standard (the 2025 SNA) to measure well-being.
